Two weeks ago (April 2012) I was invited to work with a mare and her owner. They were looking for some clarification in moving forward, letting go of the past and reconnecting in the saddle. When I arrived there was another friend of the owner there and she stayed for the session. A very powerful experience that showed how the mare had in fact connected with a male horse spirit who was protecting her and would facilitate her when she was being ridden. I offered her some meridian rebalancing work and it was incredible to watch her release energy blockages from many years ago. After the session the friend said that her horse had been spiritually/energetically nudging her to make an appointment – and we did.
The following week I went to visit the horse that had asked for an appointment. When I arrived I was introduced. I always look around, feeling for spiritual activity on the land as horses are so incredibly sensitive to this and it often explains strange behavior or unrest, or areas of the property that the horses will avoid. It became very apparent that it was the land I was invited to work with, and not the horse. I divined out what needed to be done and we followed the protocol. 3 days later, the protocol was completed by the owner and she said that the land felt so much better, even the chickens were exploring areas they had avoided for a long time.
I always ensure I have no agenda to my visits and always connect to the animal prior to my arrival for any information I need. Being guided by the wisdom of Source and the spirits is a blessing in my work.
