My motto for this year is it feels like I wake up on Monday and go to bed on Friday! The days seem to fly by. What I have learned is if I slow down my pace, my breathing, and take a look around me, I am reminded that I can choose to be in the fast paced world we have come to know, or I can slow down and be present for every gift of Nature that is right in front of me!
Today, Magdalene, the insect, reminded me to slow down. Today is the empty my camper tanks day, which means I pack up my camper to drive to a water treatment plant and empty my grey and black water tanks. This is an every 10-day event that takes about 2 hours start to finish. It has become an opportunity to tidy, clean and remember to be focused and present in each step of the process.
