Pett Level Beach, The Fire Hills & Winchelsea Beach
Pett Level Beach

This incredible beach has become a favorite for Maui and I. The cliffs are stunning and when the tide is out there is a petrified forest under the water. Each time I have been to this beach, Maui and I have met some lovely people from Wayne and his rescue dog, to witnessing 2 seals being released by RSPCA, and meeting Ruth and her two dogs. Ruth has introduced me to a local group of like-minded people and practitioners.

There is a perfect area under the cliff to do drumming, which I will be returning to honor as time and tide charts allow! The flow is in alignment and I am so excited to be introduced more people who speak the same light worker language.

A Magical Walk on the Fire Hills

The energy on the Fire Hills is light, multi-dimensional, and so intriguing. I believe there is much to learn from the land and the Exmoor ponies. One of the ponies shared his name is Ashford and that he has much to tell me. Next time I will remember to bring my drum and journal. The land here speaks in a language that I ‘remember’. I know I have lived in these hills in another lifetime. It is all very familiar. AND I take walks in these seemingly new woods and trails and the trees guide my path and I find my way without getting lost!! (In the picture of the clouds, what do you see? I at first saw a horses head, a second look the image was a dragon! )

Winchelsea Beach

I came to this beach shortly after I arrived from the US. Birgit had suggested it and drove us over as I did not have a vehicle for the first 10 days.

Yesterday during a drive to meet a friend and getting lost along the way, I found it again. So today Maui and I went for a walk before an afternoon remote appt.

The tide was wayyyyyy out and the sand was so inviting! The top half of the beach is all pebbles, once over the mounds of stone, the sand was lovely! We also walked the trails alongside the sheep and on our return to the car, Maui met lots of pups to practice his meet and greet skills. He was amazing and is learning how to discern appropriate approach for different dogs.

The wood art caught my eye too on our way back to the car. It was a fabulous walk.
