As humans you are taught by parents, society, and other sources to go beyond yourself for the answers to perceived problems that have transpired in your life experience. You reach outward to those you feel are better qualified to provide you with answers. You learn here is a person out there to resolve every possible need and those people have every possible potential resolution. You strive to seek help from these others completely bypassing your own innate knowledge and wisdom. When you don’t receive what you are looking for, or the support you seek, how quick are you to lay blame and guilt on everyone else because the issue still resides within you.

What does this seeking answers from outside yourself create? It creates disharmony within you. Why? Because you disconnect from self, having searched externally for the answer. You have left behind the one true source that is unconditional to you, your soul, your heart, your connection to nature. You choose to close the door to looking within believing you are not qualified, knowledgeable, wise enough to know the resolution. And even more so, the answer needs to be one you like or want to hear, so if its not you keep searching, dismissing the person who offered you the support or guidance. The next step is the judgments of others that often will play a role in this process you call ‘finding resolution’.

On this Spring Equinox day imagine creating the resolution from deep within yourself. Imagine that you have the answers and you choose to seek guidance from within in order to find resolution and clarity. Imagine how you can create space and openness, stillness and quiet in order to experience the guidance you have within – this comes from your ancestors, from those who came before you, your bloodline, its in your DNA, your bones. As animals we have evolved and learned from those who came before us. We have learned how to survive, how to find nourishment, how to raise our young, how to find our way out in the woods, forests, far from human existence. We ‘know’ these ways, from deep within ourselves.

What if you found stillness to hear all of what you already know. What if you found connection to those guides who will always support you and show you the way. What if you trusted yourself unconditionally, with pure intent, that all would be laid out in front of you. What if you were willing to look at yourself in the mirror! What would you see?

There are many ways to look within that will bring you to a place of belief and connection to your own self. To bring you to a place of listening and action, so you may walk your path with complete confidence.

Ceremony

Time to make noise. Why? It is distracting your thoughts and bringing you present. It brings you in touch with self and releases the bondage of expectation from others. It releases burdens of heavy energy by breaking up the thickness so it may clear away and give you a stronger sense of self.

This noise is made by you, not sought from an outside source. Drumming, chanting, singing bowls are all sounds I have experienced and work well. The act of making sound and keeping it even and steady will create time to align yourself to your resolution. Ask and you shall receive!

Let your inner child and bright internal light shine, get creative and let sound clear you and guide you.

With love always,
